Devoted supporters of the pop star are urging that a individual who jumped a fence and touched the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A viral clip reveals the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and lunging at Grande while the performers walked down a event pathway surrounded by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though legal records indicated that he was scheduled to appear on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was charged.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features recordings of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last December.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," stated an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Followers Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the end of her 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented one more response on Instagram.

A number of supporters also criticised guards at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while some requested online networks to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In footage circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was touched by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Numerous of attendees had gathered in a sea of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore venue, including some who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The film, to be released on 21 November, is the second of a two-part version of the well-known theatrical production Wicked, which revolves around the surprising bond between two distinct witches.

The production itself is a derivative of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a light pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of last year in the UK, and scored 10 award recognitions, securing several for best costume and set decoration.
