Person of Interest in Brown University Incident Located Deceased Inside Storage Facility.

The man linked to the recent fatal violence at Brown University authorities state died by suicide on Thursday night, according to officials.

His body was discovered at a storage facility on Thursday evening, as reported citing an official source. The same individual is also believed of the murder of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a residence in the Boston area.

“He committed suicide tonight,” announced the chief of the Providence police department during a news briefing.

The police official named the deceased man as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old student at Brown University.

This development follows a significant police presence at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Witnesses reported seeing multiple armed officers converging on the premises.

The manhunt for the perpetrator had restarted on Monday after the attorney general's office announced that a person of interest on Sunday had been let go. This turn of events was acknowledged to be likely to cause fresh anxiety for the city residents.

Local officials noted that while the release was a setback, the broader investigation was not paused without interruption.

The young victims who were killed in the attack have been named by family. They are Ella Cook, a sophomore from Alabama who was served as vice-president for a campus political group, and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, an international student in his freshman year who aspired to a neurosurgeon.

Officials are expected to hold a press conference to provide further details on the circumstances of the death.
